Maths Shed (ICT resource) is an online resource used to support children in the classroom and at home. It is used as a targeted resource within school to help individual children build on existing knowledge and work to fill any gaps within their learning.
Spelling Shed is an online resource to support children in the classroom and at home. All children have their own log in and have access to it at home and at school.
Phonics.co.uk is an online resource to support children with games and activities.
White Rose Maths - This company are preparing free packages for schools who are closed due to Coronavirus. The first set will be released next week e.g. week commencing 16th March 2020
Oxford Owl - It is aimed at children aged three to 11 years old and is free to use.
It helps children learn reading and Maths, and there are also top tips for parents to help your child with their learning. There are also over 250 free ebooks.
BBC Bitesize - The BBC Bitesize website covers all areas of the curriculum, ranging from primary school level up to GCSE exams. It’s free to use and includes animations, revision flashcards and interactive sections to help your kids learn.
Topmarks - This website includes lots of free games. Hit the Button is one of the games which lets children practice times tables and number bonds.
Reading Eggs - Great for practising reading and comprehension skills in a fun and interactive way. Please ask your class teacher for a login if needed.
National Geographic Kids - A great platform and totally free. Online games, resources and competitions too all aimed at primary children. Also, lots of subjects are covered e.g. history, science, geography, English, maths, PSHE and & Art & Design.
World Geography Games - This free online gaming platform is great for learning geography topics. There are interactive activities on continents, flags, regions, islands, rivers…the list is endless. Just go to the website and enjoy!
