The Rainbow (Well-being) Team works with the children and also families of Westmeads, helping to address issues that might be affecting their behaviour and well-being. The small team: Jo Elms, Lucy Frattaroli and Steph Quinn, is led by Kate Gowing and works to strengthen relationships with children and their families.
The Rainbow (Well-being) Team supports parents with wide-ranging concerns: parenting, bereavement, divorce, housing, finance and health concerns, and can signpost to outside agencies for specialist advice, or can refer to Early Help for specific family support.
At least one member of the Rainbow (Well-being) Team is on the gate each morning, but further discussions can be arranged in a private meeting should this be required. Jo Elms and Kate Gowing can be contacted via the school office on (01227) 272 995.
