Term 6 - Coastal School. We found so much sea life, learned about potential risks at the beach and had a stone throwing competition- who can throw their stone the furthest and why? Lots of enquiry questions and understanding of the world!

Canopy Session learning Forest School Skills. This week learning how to light a fire safely and toasting marshmallows!🌳🪵🍃🔥🍡

A professional Story Teller came to Orange and Yellow Class . We listened to, retold and created different endings for Red Riding Hood

Our frost and ice explorations and investigations last week! 🥶❄️. Amazing scientific questions were being asked and knowledge shared!

We designed, made and posted or own Christmas cards! When we went to post our cards we had a surprise visit from a Postal Worker who asked us if we wanted to see them collect their letters - so exciting!

Term 2 Learning in the EY

Term 2 Child-Led Learning - When a child tied a length of ribbon around a milk bottle and had an idea about using it as a pulley to transport water! So many amazing skills developing collaboration, conversation, problem-solving and perseverance.

Here is a little video of our birthday party we held on Friday for Maisy Mouse. The children were busy preparing for it all week and had a great time. It was the first birthday party that some of them experienced.
