At Westmeads Community Infant School we invest in the wellbeing of all. Wellbeing is a priority for all staff and we aim to ensure that our children and families feel safe secure and valued as part of our wonderful school community.
In order for a child's brain to function and for them to be able to access learning, they need to be happy, confident, and settled. The most important thing is that every child feels valued and loved.
In our school, we strive to encourage every child to believe that they can succeed by developing essential life skills such as perseverance, resilience, and problem-solving.
Class teachers closely monitor all children's wellbeing. By being responsive to the individual needs of children within the class, staff ensure that additional time is provided to those who need it.
