Strategies and Support
Everyone at Westmeads is dedicated to delivering the best possible opportunities for our children. We also recognise without judgement that there are often many external factors that can effect our children and families access to the education we offer.
Our Inclusion team work hard to support parents with wide-ranging concerns. For example, parenting challenges, bereavement, divorce, housing difficulties, finance difficulties, health concerns, wellbeing concerns and more. Where possible, we will signpost to outside agencies for specialist advice, or can refer to Early Help for specific family support.
We encourage each of our families to reach out to us if there are any concerns that we may be able to help with and in turn, we will do our best to support where possible.
If you wish to contact a member of inclusion team, please contact school on 01227 272995 and ask for either Mrs Jo Elms, Family Liason Officer, Mrs Angharad Thomas, SENDCo or Mr Jamie Sonnex, Assistant Head Teacher and Inclusion Lead.
