Safeguarding Children

The Governing body and staff of Westmeads Community Infant School take seriously our responsibility under section 175 of the Education Act 2002 to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children; and to work together with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements are in place within our school to identify, assess, and support those children who are suffering harm.

On our school  team we have several trained Designated Safeguarding staff members:

Our role is to ensure that our pupils are safe both in and outside of school. If you have any worries or concerns about a situation that your child, or any other, is facing, please do not hesitate to contact us.
