Our outdoor Nordic-style nursery offers a unique early years education experience, fostering a deep connection with nature while supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 years for a nurturing, play-based learning environment centred on outdoor exploration and holistic growth. The provision will provide for 39 children aged 2-4 year-olds within a session offering a unique setting where learning takes place outdoors which research supports as being most beneficial to developing the prime areas of learning the cornerstone of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Our core nursery 30 hours offer is Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 15:30 PM to accommodate all our parents we recognise that we provide 32.5 hours a week but will consider this 30 hours a week.
• Our 15 hours offer consists of Monday and Tuesday from 09:00 AM to 15:30, Wednesday 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Or Wednesday 13:30 PM to 15:30 PM. Thursday and Friday from 09:00 AM to 15:30PM.
• Families have the option to top up 15 hours within the school week to the 30 hour offer.
• Wraparound can be topped up at an additional cost.
• Children may attend flexibly in agreement with the school, as long as they are enrolled in our nursery for a minimum of 15 hours during this period.
• A minimum commitment of 15 hours is recommended to ensure consistency and engagement in our program.
• Wraparound care is available for families needing extended hours:
  • Morning session (7:30 AM – 8:50 AM) including a healthy breakfast.
  • Afternoon session (15:30 PM – 18:00 PM) with engaging activities and a light snack.

Attendance at Westmeads Nursery does not mean automatic entry to school when your child reaches four years old.  We will give you all the information you need to apply for a school place.
